Welcome to APPLE LEEF FARM.  We are a small homestead located in North Texas between McKinney and Sherman.  We produce lustrous and fine spinning fibers from our Angora goats, and Corriedale Sheep.  The flock is comprised of both colored and white animals.  
     In summers where the grasshoppers haven't been the number one crop, we utilize a large organic garden to provide us with fresh vegetables year round.  Herbs and antique roses scatter the landscape for a variety of scents, color, and some great herbal hot teas!
     Besides battling the grasshoppers, we are on constant alert for coyotes.  So far we have been lucky and have had no losses.  We attribute this directly to our wonderful
guardian animals.
     Not only do we provide fine spinning fibers, but we are a full teaching farm, offering classes in spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing (both natural and fiber reactive), felting and cold-process soap making.  The farm is open for individuals or groups, who would like to learn a bit about fiber and the fiber arts.  Just give us a call and let's schedule a time!
