KNITTING WITH BEADS

Do NOT spend a lot of money on this class for learning to knit with beads!  We will do some "practice pieces"

Here is what you need to bring:

1.  An "open eye" beading needle

2.  About 200 or more pony type beads - I am using glass E beads sized 6/0

3.  A skein of a light sport weight yarn, either wool, wool blend or cotton
       Be sure your yarn can pass through the hole of your selected beads. 
        You want a snug fit, not too loose.

4.  A pair of short single points or double pointed knitting needles in a size recommended by your yarn

5.  Scissors

6.  Pencil and notebook

We will do a sampler that will demonstrate several different stitches for bead effects,
as well as learn different ways to get beads into our knitted fabric.
