ALF Class Calendar

EVERYONE is invited to a SPIN IN, on the
second Saturday of each month, so please mark your calendars and come for the camaraderie and fun!

Please read the class syllabus by clicking on the class name.  The class syllabus will tell you what you need to prepare for the class.  If you have any questions, please call or email.  Some classes will require a supply fee in addition to the class fee.  For those classes that do not list a syllabus, the information will be emailed or snail mailed.

NOTE!  I also teach classes during the week, so if you are interested in getting one together, please call or email.

There is a $20.00 deposit per class.
Some classes are limited in size.
 
Most of the Saturday classes are FULL day classes.  The Sunday classes are HALF day classes.  If you would like to register for both the Saturday and Sunday class and would like to stay over night, we have two cabins that can each accommodate double occupancy.  The cabins rent for $75 per night for single occupancy and for $85 per night for double occupancy.  The cabins are motel quality, and the fee includes breakfast.  Please call or email to reserve.

SPIN IN - Come bring your fibery project and "spin the day".  Lots of friendly camaraderie and fun!  Always something new to learn.  Bring a sack lunch.

FEB. 27 SATURDAY CRANK IN - We will be a 'crankin'!  Come see these crotchety cantankerous and thoroughly bewitching machines in action as we endeavor to tame the metal beast....  (and hopefully manage to crank out a great fitting pair of socks!)  Bring a sack lunch.

MARCH 6 SATURDAY SPINNING THE BAST FIBERS - A full day class of learning how to prepare and spin bast fibers, focusing on all the forms of cotton, flax and ramie.   
MARCH 7 SUNDAY SPACE DYEING ROVINGS AND YARN  
MARCH 13 SATURDAY SPIN IN - Come bring your fibery project and "spin the day".  Lots of friendly camaraderie and fun!  Always something new to learn.  Bring a sack lunch.

MARCH 14 SUNDAY WEAVING ON CARDBOARD LOOMS - Learn how to make a cardboard loom for weaving a small bag
